Restoring and Rebuilding Society

Louise Profit-LeBlanc (First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun) is an artist and storyteller who is preserving stories of the Tagish and Big River People of the Yukon. She cofounded the Yukon International Story Telling Festival and Society of Yukon Artists of Native Ancestry. She was the coordinator of the Aboriginal Arts Office at Canada's Council of Arts in Ottawa. Louise is also a former member of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Canada.
